about

While slowly working away on my repeatedly delayed album, I've accumulated a few odd tracks that are technically complete, but that I know will not be making it on the album, so to celebrate my birthday I decided to gather a few of those, plus some other random stuff I haven't released (here) before and make a little release to celebrate my birthday.

Uneasy is an Atari ST chiptune writtein in TTrak, specifically for this release. A brand spanking new track!

Mite is an experimental IDMish tune based on a generative SunVox track, that I recorded for 40ish minutes, edited together and added some more sound design on top of to finish it off.

neopest control and fuck NFTs are tracks done for the puwulsewave discord server's semi-monthly themed track compilations a few years back

spek is a track produced entirely with modules from my upcoming Voltage Modular virtual modular synth system pack of modules. It's one big generative patch with several layers of sequencers and a bunch of semi-random elements. I recorded a whole bunch of audio while noodling on the controls of the patch and cut together what you're hearing here.

Sparrow is a previous version of a lo-fi track that WILL be on the album that I ended up re-working EVERY SINGLE TRACK in, so the resulting track is entirely different.

and finally monoscan is the soundtrack from my 4KB Intro that placed first in the 4K Intro competition at the Assembly Summer 2023 demoparty. It's the soundtrack part of a real-time audiovisual presentation produced and entirely contained in a single .exe Windows executable with a file size of 4096 bytes or 4KB. A recording of the entire intro can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpBqBdPwnGI
